My Practice
I provide comprehensive psychotherapy to adults. As one of my patients, you will receive an individually tailored treatment plan informed by both my understanding of your symptoms and your essential input. Since 2003, I have used this approach to successfully treat patients with depression, anxiety and relationship issues, and individuals dealing with trauma, as well as survivors of domestic violence and LGBTQ adults. I am fluent in both Korean and English. I offer a safe and confidential environment and convey honesty and warmth.
Movement Psychotherapy
In addition to traditional talk therapy, I also provide adults with the option to participate in movement-based psychotherapy. This approach allows you to express emotions by moving your body. It is often difficult to put painful feelings and emotions into words. Through movement, you and I can communicate what you feel and explore new ways of making positive changes in your life.
My Philosophy
Everyone faces challenges in their lives. Sometimes these challenges can be overwhelming. My role as a therapist is to help you find the strength and knowledge within yourself to overcome these obstacles. This can be a difficult process. But, by working together, you and I can explore your strengths and create positive change in your life.
