Ms. Renee Packer is a Licensed Social Worker who works with individuals and families ranging from kids to young adults. Renee attended University of Wisconsin Oshkosh where she received her Bachelors of Social Work. Renee then studied at Jane Addams College of Social Work earning a Masters degree in Social Work. Renee has a specialization in School Social Work. She particularly enjoys working with kids, adolescents, and young adults as they work through anxiety, depression, life transitions, self-esteem or other related issues.
Renee also works at Plainfield Central High School. She has been there for three years working in their specialized program for students with emotional and behavioral disabilities. She has experience working with a wide range of diagnoses and disabilities including anxiety, depression, autism, bipolar disorder, and mood disorders. Renee likes to work collaboratively with her clients using a variety of techniques including, CBT, mindfulness, and art therapy.
In her free time, she enjoys kickboxing, animals, shopping, traveling, the great outdoors, and reading.
