Ema Chester is a Mental Health counselor with a M.A. degree from Boston College, Lynch School of Education. Ema has worked in a variety of settings including in schools, community mental health centers, and private practice. Ema likes to work collaboratively with her clients, using a variety of therapies and techniques including CBT, mindfulness, and psychodynamic therapies. Ema is committed, driven, and conscientious in her work as a counselor because she believes it is a privilege and a calling to walk alongside others on their journey towards wholeness. Ema has experience working with a racially and linguistically diverse population, particularly within immigrant communities, as this is part of her own background. Ema is a bridge builder and loves connecting with different cultures and communities. She is especially interested in making counseling meaningful and accessible to people who have never done counseling before and find it strange or intimidating. Ema loves working with adolescents and adults across the life-span.
