Ema Chester is a Mental Health counselor with a M.A. degree from Boston College. She loves working with young adults though older adults from all backgrounds, especially people new to therapy. Her style is helping people create a space for curiosity and compassion as her clients explore places they feel stuck and afraid. Ema is committed, driven, and conscientious in her work as a counselor because she believes it is a privilege and a calling to walk alongside others on their journey towards wholeness. She believes whole heartedly that restoration and healing is possible, even when it is hard to see in the moment. Ema has experience working with racially and linguistically diverse populations, particularly within immigrant communities, as this is part of her own background. Ema is a bridge builder and loves connecting with different cultures and communities. She is a mom of three robust little humans and in her free time loves to be outside, have dinners with friends and secretly loves good old-fashioned reality tv.
